Santa Specials on the Historic Railway

A magical way to meet Father Christmas is to catch a ride on the Kent and East Sussex Railway, starting at Tenterden station. Pick a date across December. More details found here.

Rye Christmas Festival

8th December

This festival is worth a special mention as the Rye community really does go to town to put on a complete array of christmas special treats to get us in the mood. Much goes on indoors and out on the streets. The town of Rye is pretty all year long, but add some Christmas sparkle and it's an even bigger delight.

Take a look at the details here.

Brede Steam Giants

3rd November and 1st December

And the closest event to the farm is in the village, when the Brede steam giants come to life! On the first Saturday of every month, the doors are opened, the engines fired, and you have chance to appreciate the workings of the Brede Heritage water pumps housed in imposing Edwardian and Victorian houses.
