Medieval Food in the Medieval Town of Rye

Wild Boar Week in Rye, East Sussex is a perfect opportunity to indulge in culinary delights from the dark ages; and not just boar. It runs from 15th - 23rd October. Wild boar have been resident in our woods at Hare Farm for centuries, scavenging for all sorts on the woodland floor. They keep themselves to themselves and (fortunately) normally only surface at night time. They stay well away from your holiday home, promise! The meat is delicious, and it's great that Rye is celebrating it next week. Rye is just a ten minute drive away from your large self catering holiday home. We'll see you there!
