Open House and Thumbs Up

By hook and by crook, we managed to oust the builders last week and clean up just in time for an Open House yesterday (Sunday), where family and friends came over for tea and cake at the oast house. It was the first time we used the kitchen's smooth corian sink, shiny kettle, terrace furniture, even the bath for my children's dip that night. Fifty+ eager viewers were unleashed in the building and it was great to see the oast came out unscathed, and indeed with its head held high when lots of positive feedback was given...
