Retreat Weekends are coming to the Farm

For two consecutive weekends this month, special weekend retreats have been organised at Hare Farm.

Jayne and Jules ran a "Reflect and Restore" retreat here last June, over the Summer solstice weekend, and the group described the setting at Hare Farm as "an idyllic haven". 12 sessions were on offer throughout the weekend, including yoga, mindfulness and walking. Louise, a local caterer, provided the weekend's vegetarian menu.

Early morning sessions were on the agenda, especially for the Summer solstice.

The group used the Oast house's gardens for some of the sessions, surrounded by far-reaching views. And at other times, walks were made from the Oast, including one that ended at the farm's lake for a meditation hour.

We are delighted that Jayne and Jules have booked again to return this year, this time for a Spring "New beginnings" retreat. Tying in with the lambing season at Hare Farm, we have tailored a mini lambing course for the retreat group, adding a bespoke and fascinating extra dimension to what should be another wonderful weekend.

Jayne and Jules, as organisers have booked both the Oast house and the shepherd's hut for their weekend retreat, giving plenty of space for the group to spread out, and for the leaders to retreat at night into their own charming bolthole (the hut) just round the corner, perched on a brow of another field, with yet more lovely views.

Should you be interested in organising your own retreat at Hare Farm, the Oast and Hut sleep up to 14 guests and are available for weekend and mid-week bookings, all year round. Please contact Joanna on 07802 979348 or stay@harefarm.co.uk for more details.
