Rye Arts Festival Coming Soon

Rye Arts Festival is staged over two weeks this September, from 15 - 30 September. It's packed full of an exciting range of events.

Whether you are a lover of classical or contemporary music,  jazz, literary events, walks, tours, or comedy, there's something for everyone.

John Julius Norwich, Sandy Gall, Adam Nicolson and Penny Junor, are some of the literary heavyweights this year. Euphonia Works is returning to put on another fully staged opera and its President, Lord Winston, will give a fascinating talk related to the opera "Are women really like that?" For the first time Rye will host lunchtime concerts by outstandingly talented young musicians. Amongst other musical treats are the Zemlinksy Quartet, London Adventist Chorale, Courtney Pine and American Blues artist Catfish Keith.

And there is more, including  comedy, historical walks, bird ringing, cellar and Romney Marsh Church tours.

Our self catering holiday homes, the oast and the shepherd's hut are so well placed to be your base while you head into town, just ten minutes's drive away, to enjoy the fabulous talent descending on Rye in September.
