The Shepherd's Hut Settles In

With a little help from her new friend the John Deere tractor, our brand new shepherd's hut has now found her resting spot on the brow of a hill in Chestnuts Field. Stuart has created a path through the copse to reach her and Annie is busily pulling all the finishing touches together. The builders are close to completing the wonderful "barn" in a barn - the wet room and kitchen are under cover in a new boarded pair of rooms within the Sussex barn, home to our resident barn owls.

Annie has taken a few photos to give a good idea on how the hut will look in the end, and is really excited in receiving her first shepherd's hut holiday booking last week! (just a couple days after it arrived on the farm!!). As much as she'd love to have everything in place for Christmas, we have to be realistic and accept it is more likely mid January for the first guests to wake up in what is arguably the "sweetest" form of luxury camping there is around.
