FIND THE OAST

The large Hare Farm Oast house is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Brede, less than 8 miles from the towns of Rye, Battle and Hastings. Our address is Hare Farm Oast, Stubb Lane, Brede, Rye, East Sussex TN31 6BT.

By Car

The outskirts of London is about an hour away by car. Head south on the A21 towards Hastings. 3 miles past Robertsbridge turn left onto the B2089 towards Broad Oak and Rye. Continue on this road through Cripps Corner until you reach a major crossroads in Broad Oak. Turn right on to the A28 towards Hastings. On reaching the village of Brede, turn left into Stubb lane, just before the Red Lion pub. Continue down Stubb lane for about 1/2 a mile, passing houses on both sides. Hare Farm's driveway is on the right hand side (look out for wooden signs on the bank), just before a steep hill downwards. Continue down the drive until you reach the farmhouse. Branch left and circle the barns, until you reach the Oast's parking area.

By Train

Trains from Central London take just over an hour. Rye station (via Ashford) is about 6 miles away. Battle Station is 8 miles away. Battle Taxis are pre-bookable on 01424 777222
