Matt and Anees, Berkhamsted ( 3rd August 2018 )

What a fabulous place! We have truly enjoyed waking up to the fresh air and spectacular scenery. Annie was really welcoming and the hut is such a lovely place to stay in. We're already planning a return visit. THANK YOU! xx

Danielle and Michael, Ashford ( 19th June 2018 )

Wow! What a beautiful find! Had a lovely stay celebrating my 31st birthday. Thank you so much! The sheep are so funny and added to the experience. I'm already planning to come back for a winter visit. Lovely location, lovely hut and lovely welcome ❤️

Andy and Sally, Rochester ( 15th June 2018 )

Feels like we've found a secret hide away, didn't want to leave, can't wait to come back. The sheep are great entertainment and we could watch them for hours. It's like we were the only people around for miles. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need :-)

Fiona and Nathan, Rye ( 14th June 2018 )

Although we live 10 minutes drive away, it feels like we've really escaped! A million miles from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful, cosy, relaxing. We loved cooking on the fire pit and watching the sheep ( and hearing them - that was the best part of being in the middle of nowhere) - THANK YOU for having us! Planning our next visit!

Ali and Sam, Kent ( 4th August 2017 )

What a lovely location and fabulous hut! Will definitely be back again. Great place to unwind and forget about the world. Remember to book the pub if you want an evening meal!

Tijs and Kathleen, Bruges, Belgium ( 20th - 27th June 2017 )

We had a lovely week at the Hut. We loved the sheep bumping into the hook and listening to the different kinds of  sounds they made while looking for their mommy. We loved the view and quietness, very cosy bed. Wish we could stay longer and enjoy more evenings at the fire pit watching the Milky Way! We have made some nice walks starting at the hut where we met some deer, foxes,....... Thank you, see you soon!

Clare and Chris, East Sussex ( 26th May 2017 )

A wonderful weekend stay, we love the Hut and want one ourselves! So nice not to be far from home but feel completely away from it all. Loved watching the lambs play and cooking steaks and fish from Rye on the fire pit . Facilities are fantastic and what a beautiful place to live. Enjoyed the circular walk to the reservoir and Red Lion pub on the way back. Thank

Sean and Georgina, Grantham (1st May 2017)

It was such a lovely experience, my girlfriend didn't want to leave all the little lambs! I would highly recommend your accommodation to all my friends and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Such a lovely place!

Very pretty, perfect location. We even enjoyed the early wakeup from the sheep. Can't wait to come back

Melissa and Jason, Berkshire (14th July 2013)

We had an amazing time here. The hut has everything you could need - well equiped kitchen and bathroom. The scenery is out of this world + the hut is so tucked away.

Rye and Winchelsea are definite musts.

Thank you for a wonderful escape from the rat race - A huge thank you to the added bonus.

We will definitely recommend it!

Louise and Barrie, Kent, (5th - 8th July 2013)

What a great weekend we had in the shepherd's hut - fantastic weather and scenery, Murray winning, Wimbledon, sheep, The Red Lion, Hastings and most importantly relaxation.

We would definitely recommend it.

Melanie and Daniel, Bucks, (17th+18th May 2013)

What a lovely place!

We have both loved the peace and quiet at Hare Farm.

We think that it is fantastic that everything you need is cleverly squeezed in such a well designed space - from champagne flutes to enamel mugs.

We have both thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to be back soon.

Rye was well worth a visit + a good meal at the Red Lion.

Ps found the cheeky sheep bumping the hut in the morning hilarious!

Donna and Andrew, Wales (14th May 2013)

We have had a wonderful little holiday in this perfect peaceful place.

The hut is beautiful and so are the idyllic surroundings. Going to sleep snuggled up by the cosy log burner and waking up to the sound of the lambs and the sunshine through the windows was perfect.

Rachel and Alistair Moore, Kent, (9th and 10th April 2013)

Far from the Madding Crowd (and technology). Two days spent as Gabriel Oak.

Amazing experience - thank you. Annie and Stuart always one step ahead to ensure perfect stay.

Just a short spur of the moment break - how lucky we were to find the perfect place. Cosy, comfortable & just lovely.

The girls (3 3/4 + 18months) loved it. What a wonderful setting, beautiful countryside & a warm welcome from Annie with homemade lemonade and cake. Thank you!

Louisa and Sam, London (31st August 2012)

Thank you for the most amazing and relaxing weekend - the hut was so beautiful - I wish we could stay forever!

Lovely meal at the Red Lion and great steaks on the firepit! So lovely that it's the only hut - you feel so private - so many places would have had 4 or 5 in a field.

The peace and quiet was perfect - we will be back! Thank you.

Rachael and Sanj Manku, Sevenoaks (18th August 2012)

What a perfect weekend - perfect weather, perfect situation & perfect seclusion. We'll always remember our time here. Thank you!

A beautiful place which was perfect for a relaxing weekend out of London to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We enjoyed beautiful sunny evenings BBQuing in the firepit watching the sheep.

Your attention to detail was fantastic-everything we would need and more. A real bonus to see the barn owls.

Paul and Marie, Dartford, Kent (18 May 2012)

Just wanted to drop you both a note and say how amazing the hut is. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would most certainly love to come back.

The views we woke up to were gorgeous. Plus, the sounds of the sheep and them head-butting the hut made for a few laughs in the morning. The facilities in the barn were fantastic and overall it made for a memorable weekend.

Sarah Jane and husband, Surrey (14 March 2012)

I just wanted to take the opportunity to all at Hare Farm (especially Annie) for such a fantastic weekend. We had such a fabulous time, we just didnt want to leave. The weather was glorious, the hut was so cosy and being there at lambing time was magical! we cannot wait to come back and are already looking at when we can come back. We loved it so much we stayed another night! Well done on such a fantastic place, you certainly thought of everything.
